A Plant-astic Journey!
Hello everyone! Kindy 3 is back his week with another awesome blog! This week is about plants! It’s something that was covered in Kindy 2, but now we get to go a bit more in-depth about the topic.
One of the best ways to learn anything is through hands on experience. So this week Kindy 3 planted some lettuce!
First we learned what soil was. Soil is extremely important if you want your plant to grow big and strong!
Of course, we also had to plant the seeds. This was done after everyone had a chance to make a little hole in the soil.
While some seeds can be pretty big, ours were relatively small. So everyone had to be careful not to drop them on the ground!
There was also a quick explanation of what to expect once the seeds were planted, and about how long it would take before we started seeing progress!
Everyone showed how great of a listener they are! Kindy 3 was super attentive and remembered a lot of new vocabulary!
Once everything was said and done, the only thing left to do was water the plants. It’s simple step, but everyone had a ton of fun helping out!
Our lettuce got plenty of water thanks to everyone who helped out. I’m sure our lettuce will be able to grow super big! Fantastic job, Kindy 3!
