Hello Kindy 3!
We went on our first field trip yesterday and we all had a blast. It was a day filled with so much to see and so much fun to be had. Now that you know about our trip as a school, let’s see what Kindy 3 did on their own.
On our way there we were all so excited and couldn’t stop talking about the different animals that we wanted to see. We had been there before, however it feels different when going with all of our classmates.
Once we arrived, we could hardly contain our excitement and wanted to run inside as fast a possible. We knew we had all day so a couple minutes wasn’t so bad.
We got to see many different animals, big and small. Each one kept us excited to see the next. The koalas were a big hit with us all even though there were mostly sleeping.
There were many different birds but the flamingos definitely stood out to us. There was an egg with them, it was our first time seeing the bird taking care of its egg.
By the time lunch came around we were already so tired from walking and were completely ready to reenergize with a short break. We all ate lunch so fast and were soon ready to get back to the animals.
In the end we found a super cool picture on the ground showing how far many different animals could jump and we are first in line to compete with them. We will beat them all when we get a little bigger!
Let’s keep record of our time at the zoo by recording it into a journal. It can be difficult to write but we had so many things to write about and once we started it was hard to stop. We can’t wait to complete our writing and draw our memories to show you!
We had a lot of fun and can’t wait to go again! Great job Kindy 3!
