Hello everyone! We’re still having a lot of fun here in Kindy 2! This time we’re learning about inventions and experiments! One of the first inventions we learned about was airplanes! Planes have been so influential on a global scale, it was a natural first choice!

To really learn about planes, it seemed like a good idea to make our own!

We all got to choose a color for our plane. Then we got straight to work. Making a paper airplane is trickier than it seems and requires a lot of precise folds. Good job everyone for doing it so carefully!

Then came the fun part! Actually throwing the planes! This is the experiment part of the lesson. Throwing our airplanes in different ways produces very different results!

So we threw them again, but this time a bit differently. Everyone could see how the method of throwing can greatly effect the trajectory of their plane!

In the end, we all learned about how an airplane interacts with the air around us. It was a good learning experience for us all! Excellent job, Kindy 2! Take care of those airplanes!
