Hello everyone, Preschool Class here!
We are all so happy to be so independent for lunchtime! Not only are we used to washing our hands and eating with our friends, but we can also set up our own tables and lunch sets by ourselves!
“Are you going to open your towel all the way?”
“Did you get everything out of your lunch bag?”
Of course, Toni and Nanami still listen to us when we can’t quite do something all the way. They make sure we try as much as we can before they start the parts we can’t.
“Is your apron on your shoulders?”
We like to do our own sprinkles! After we start eating, we can get our sprinkle packets and pour them on our rice all on our own!
“Tap tap tap!”
Fingers are not supposed to be in our mouths, so Toni and Nanami are helping us remember to use our table utensils.
“Do you want to use your fork or spoon-? Oh, okay, I guess you can use both. Good try!”
We can eat all sorts of food for lunch! Toni and Nanami are encouraging us all to try at least one bite of everything in our lunch trays. And we do it! We may need a little drink from our drink bottle to help us, but we do! Once we try that, then we can have our dessert.
“Wow, you finished everything!?”
“Was it yummy?”
After eating lunch, we tidy up our lunch sets. Our forks, our aprons, our lunch towels, all of it is put away by us! We’re trying to fold our towels and aprons to take home, have you noticed?
Toni and Nanami are so proud of everyone’s hard work to enjoy lunchtime while practicing their independence! We hope you show off your skills to Mom and Dad at home! Good job, Preschool! Let’s keep having fun and doing our very best every day!
