Hello Kindy 3!

We have been slowly working up our competitive nature by having races of different types. This week we had an obstacle course race that involved many different actions  that we have practiced over the year.

We had our race as a relay, which is great practice for later in the year when we have our display at sports day! Everyone is getting the idea of passing off the teams ball to the next person in order to keep going and they are getting so fast at it.

The race began by crawling through a tunnel or walking along a balance beam. Both were difficult and only get harder when you are trying to complete them as quick as possible.

We always need to keep up on practicing our new vocabulary so they needed to find a random flash card and tell the teacher what it was before continuing.

Next was a big jump over some blocks followed by putting the ball through the basketball hoop.

Everything was made a little harder by the fact that the ball needed to be carried the entire time as it was acting as the baton for the relay race.

We had a couple races switching positions and in the end, only one team could be winner. Everyone tried their best and as usual, had a great time doing it!
