Hello everyone! Kindy 1 Class here!

Our first week was full of new and exciting things! For a few days, we danced to a fun song called “Pinocchio”, and we got really excited to dance with our teachers! 

After we all got familiar with this song, Toni started trying to trick us!

“Hands up! Stand up! Stand down!”

“What?!”

“I didn’t say sit down yet! Are your hands still up?” We like to try to be quick! 

For our morning routine, we have to use a big voice when repeating after Toni. When we were really good, she would even let us pretend to be the teacher.

“Who wants to do our Weather Flashcards?”

“I do!”

We can just reach our front wall to display the answers we choose. 

“The weather today is…”

Some new themes include our Classroom Objects, and the rules of how to behave in class. 

“Ooh! This glue stick looks yummy!”

“No thank you, Toni!”

“Oh, is it not for me?”

“It’s yucky!”

We also had Will come a couple of times to say hello and play games with us for our lessons.

“Can you tell me what picture Toni is hiding under?”

“This one.”

“What is it called?”

“It’s a bag.”

“Okay, check under the bag!”

Today, Toni also had us practice lining up in the gym! We think it’s easy to balance on one leg, so we had to switch faster and faster!

“Okay Kindy 1, balance on one leg, and then… hop!”

“Whoa! Haha!”

We are getting better and better at trying new things! Toni and Ari are so proud of us, and we are having so much fun with our teachers and our friends!
