Hello everyone, Preschool class here!
We are all growing so fast, we have to start changing our shoes for a bigger size now! Do you know how good we are getting at putting on our shoes? We can do everything by ourselves, from the start of class to the very end!
“Please get your shoes from your shoe bag!” No shoe bag is too hard for us to open, no matter how it closes.
“Are your shoes in the shoe box?”
It sure is after our first class of the week! We’ve practiced looking for our own shoes by taking out the shoes that we know are not our own. We used to get so frustrated when we couldn’t see our own shoes right on the top.
“Toni, this way?”
We try to match our shoes before we put them on. If they aren’t the right way, Toni and Nanami tell us, “Switch your shoes, please!” We are getting really good at trying to check our shoes after taking them off for toilet time or playtime.
“Let’s go outside and change our shoes!”
Outside playtime has a new phrase for us, ‘Change our shoes’, which means we take off our indoor shoes and put on our outside shoes. We get so excited to play, that we sometimes forget to close our shoes nicely. Oops, lol.
“Preschool, please take off your shoes and hug them!”
Anytime we take off our shoes to move them, we practice holding our shoes up. For playtime or to get ready to go home, this is how we get ready to put our shoes where they need to go.
“Give me your shoes!”
Toni always sounds funny when we put our shoes away in our shoe box. We’re practicing to drop them in and quickly go back to our seats for our friends to have space. We are getting so good at being fast!
Good job, Preschool! Toni and Nanami are so proud of you and how good you are getting with your fine motor skills. Some of you used to get so frustrated when you couldn’t put on your shoes as quickly as you wanted, but now you can do so without looking! You can even recognize your friends’ new shoes now too, can’t you? Let’s keep doing our best and keep having fun together!
