Hello everyone, Preschool Class here!

We always do well trying to understand what Toni and Nanami say in class, but do you know how good we are at speaking to our friends?

Child 1: “Let’s color together!”
Child 2: “I want circle, please.”
Child 3: “Here you are!”
Child 2: “Thank you!”

When Toni gave us shapes to trace inside and color, we immediately started talking together! It’s been a long time since we shared a paper like this to color on. 

Child: “Help, please!” 
Teacher: “You can do it! Try just a little longer!”
Child: “Okay!”

We all watched Toni’s example really closely, but not all of us could hold our shapes in place while we colored. We all got really excited after we saw how well we did though!

Child: “It’s a car!”
Teacher: “Good job! You have a blue van!”

Teacher: “Keep pushing your shapes while you color, Preschool.”
Child 1: “I am!”
Child 2: “You color here.”

Teacher: “Preschool, say hello!”
Child 2: “I want Ice Cream!”
Teacher: “Ice Cream? From Where?”
Child 1: “Me!”

Our playhouse has recently become a food shop as the kids outside ask for food from the kids inside. They imagine all sorts of food like pizza, pancakes, hamburgers, ice cream, and cakes.

Teacher: “I’m ready to catch the ball!”
Child: “Throw!”
Teacher: “Oh, you went high instead of far!”

Child 1: “I’m so tall!”
Teacher: “You’re very high, aren’t you!?”
Child 1: “Hello!”
Child 2: “Wow, you’re so tall!”

Teacher: “What are you doing?”
Child: “Yummy!”
Teacher: “Oh, are you making dinner?”
Child: “Yes!”
Teacher: “It looks delicious!”

Child 1: “It’s so high!”
Teacher: “It’s so tall!”
Child 2: “It’s so high!”
Teacher: “Okay, yes, it’s very high. Wow, good job you two!”

Toni and Nanami may try to correct us sometimes, but we know what we are saying! (lol)

Good job, Preschool! Toni and Nanami are very proud of how far you’ve come since the first day of class! We love seeing you try to put your words together in sentences, or randomly remember the phrases we used a while ago. We are both very excited to hear you talking to your friends all on your own, too! Let’s keep doing our best and having fun together!
