Hello Kindy 3!

Kindy 3 is getting back in to the groove of using numbers! Let’s find out what they are up to.

They started out by adding small numbers using the fingers on their hands. It doesn’t look all that difficult for them and they seem to be getting the idea down.

It’s time to give it a go all on their own. They are looking at the numbers and counting on their hands, but sometimes there just aren’t enough fingers. This looks hard.

With the easy basics out of the way it’s time to move on to bigger and better things. They are now seeing how to add 2 digit numbers and learning that it is always done from right to left no matter how big the number is.

They were able to work together as a team to collect beads and add them all up. They are able to do great together and gave each other good advice.

Even when things got harder they were able to keep up to the challenge and complete the tasks. It’s quite hard even though they make it look so easy.

Everyone is having a fun time racing and competing against each other to solve the problems.

They started out with basic addition and will soon move on to subtraction later this month. Keep up the great work Kindy 3!
