Hello everyone and happy Spooktober! Halloween is right around the corner, and that means it’s time for a spooky Halloween craft! Since Halloween is all about costumes, we figured it would be fun for everyone to make their own mask!
We were all excited to jump right into this craft. Everyone got to choose a color, and made a mask according to their choice! Pumpkins, monsters and bats! Oh, my!
Painting was tons of fun, and it was also some good motor skill practice. Painting isn’t always so easy, and Kindy 2 showed that they were able to do it without much mess!
Once the paint was dry it was time to add some accessories. This was where Kindy 2 was able to make their masks their own by adding their individuality. You can definitely get a sense of each student through their art!
Everyone was super excited to make heir masks perfect, and so we wanted to give plenty of time for them to do that!
Doing a craft as fun as this, it’s hard for the teachers to not take part in the festivities. Extra googly eyes and a silly teacher is a recipe for some funny times. Sometimes it’s hard not to be silly!
All in all, it was a good experience for everyone and we all had a great time. The masks came out great and they couldn’t have turned out better! Now it’s time to get ready to trick-or-treat! Happy Halloween, Kindy 2!
