New Themes In Our Day ☆ Kindy 1

Hello everyone, Kindy 1 here!
The month is flying by and we have gotten the hang of so many new things! In TRYLE, we have moved on from jump roping, to balancing balls between friends!
We can move the ball together, without using our hands!
A new theme for Kindy 1 includes Countries. The world is such a big place. We know about some places like America and United Kingdom because some of our other teachers here at IKA came from them. Others have been brand new, so we first learned about animals and now we're learning about flags!
"What colors does the Japan flag have?"
"Red and white!"
After we got a little coloring warm up, Toni had us change our flags and then try working together to color our new country flag!
"Okay, I'm going to time you Kindy 1. Ready, set, go!"
"Let's do this one green!"
"Okay, yellow is almost finished."
"This part is red, like the picture."
"We use blue here, right?"
We all worked together and tried our best!
Another thing that we are learning, just a little, is the idea about flossing.
"When you get your adult teeth, then you need to make sure you take care of them. You only have so many teeth! Don't let cavities steal them away!"
Can cavities do that?
"Floss goes between your teeth, so can you floss your tongue?"
"No!"
"What about your back teeth? Can you floss your back teeth?"
"Yes!
Some themes this month also include new foods. We have been really good at imagining some of the foods we learned about. Well, we already know them. We just wanted to pretend to use chopsticks with our toys.
"What are you making?"
"We're cooking tonkatsu!"
As well as Ordinal numbers, Transportation, and new expectations for speaking up for ourselves, we are having so much fun with each others!
"Ari, come play with us!"
"Come inside!"
"Oh, Kindy 1 you're so kind!"
